Email at Sea with OCENS MAIL

OCENS Mail

OCENS Mail provides a fast, reliable Email service that is optimized for slower connections, such as satellite phones.

Key features include:

Works with your existing Email software, such as Outlook/Outlook Express. Or use the free iScribe or Mozilla Thunderbird Email programs (included).
Server side virus scanning. Scans every e-mail sent or received for viruses.
SMS Messaging Notification - SMS (Simple Message Service) allows users to send very short textual messages to the some satellite telephones (Iridium, Globalstar and some others). The OCENS Mail Server can send a text message to your phone to let you know when you have Email waiting to be retrieved.
Server Side Filtering - Users can determine the maximum size and type (html or not) of attachments they will receive via wireless modes.
Client Side Filtering - Allows the user to limit the size of e-mail that should be downloaded via the wireless device.
Web Mail Access - OCENS Mail also gives you the ability to access your account from a local cafe via the web.
Mail Fetching* - Many customers would prefer to keep their current e-mail addresses yet still have the advanced wireless delivery of OCENS Mail. This is easily accomplished by having OCENS retrieve your mail from your existing email account and bring it into your ocens.net account. * Not all email accounts can be retrieved - Please contact OCENS to see if your account can be accessed.
